• 14th: Route 66 Classic Car Show Celebration
  The 8th Anniversary Celebration Classic Car Show is being held at the Historic Harvey House from 9 am to 2 pm. Free tours of the Harvey House depot, include both the Route 66 Mother Road and the Western America Railroad Museums. (Click here for more.)

• 27th - 28th: Barstow Rodeo
  Sporting event that consists of several different timed and judged events that involve cattle and horses, designed to test the skill and speed of the human cowboy and cowgirl athletes who participate. (Click here for more.)

• 10th - 12th: Calico Days
  Step back in time and relive Calico's glory days during our 1800's mining celebration! Enjoy a western parade, burro run, gunfight competition, live music, and more. (Click here for more.)



• 17th - 19th & 24th - 26th: Calico Ghost Haunt
  The one time a year where Calico Ghost Town actually becomes a ghost town. Bring the whole family for a hauntingly good time. Enjoy costume contests, pumpkin carving, ghost stories, and trick-or-treating for the little ones. And if you dare. . . take a chilling stroll through Maggie's Haunted Mine! (Click here for more.)

• 26th - 28th: New Year's Celebration Weekend
  Celebrate the last few days of 2008 by visiting Calico Ghost Town's New Year's Weekend, taking place Friday and Sunday, December 26-28! This three-day event offers something for everyone including live music, dancing, children's games, and a magnificent fireworks display on Saturday evening!
